We only collect information strictly necessary for managing your booking and ensuring the proper handling of your stay:
- Surname and first name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Photograph or copy of an identity document, solely for the purposes of identity verification and securing the rental
3. Purposes of processing
Your data is used to:
- Manage your booking and monitor your stay
- Contact you if necessary (practical information, check-in, check-out, etc.)
- Comply with our legal obligations, in particular maintaining the individual police form for foreign guests
- Verify the identity of the tenant and prevent the risk of fraud
- Send you, if you wish, our commercial newsletter presenting our offers and news
4. Legal basis for processing
Processing is based on:
- Performance of the rental contract and management of your booking
- Compliance with legal obligations applicable to our activity of renting accommodation
- Your consent, for the sending of commercial communications (newsletter)
5. Recipients of the data
Your data is strictly confidential. It is disclosed only to:
- Internal staff of PAF PROPERTIES authorised to process it
- The owners of the apartments concerned by your booking
- External service providers only if you choose an additional service option (concierge, transfer, etc.)
We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
6. Retention period
Your data is kept for the period strictly necessary for the purposes pursued:
- Booking and contact data: kept for the duration of the contractual relationship, then archived for the purposes of dispute management and compliance with tax obligations for a period of 3 years from the end of the relationship.
- Individual police form: in accordance with the provisions of the decree of 18 August 2015, information relating to foreign guests is kept for 6 months from their departure and provided to the competent authorities upon request.
- Photograph or copy of identity document: kept for the time necessary to verify identity and secure the rental, then deleted within a maximum period of 3 months after departure. In accordance with the recommendations of the CNIL, we limit the retention of any identity document to the strict minimum.
- Newsletter data: kept until you ask to stop receiving our communications.
7. Your rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:
- Right of access to your data
- Right to rectify inaccurate data
- Right to erasure of your data within the limits provided by law
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object, in particular to the use of your email address for commercial purposes
- Right to data portability

8. Commercial newsletter
